</br>There was about a week left until the Yule Ball and you had been really happy because of the good vibe in Hogwarts. However, Divinations had just completely brought you down.You had been chilling with Harry and Ron and Seamus and the rest of the Gryffindors when Ron asked if you were going to the ball with Draco because you two had been hanging out a lot.Then they started ragging on him and they were asking you questions like, "Why do you like him? He's such a jerk." and telling you that he's a death eater and messed up and just wantes to fuck you.</br>
</br>They don't even know him. You thought angrily as you walked through the hall, staring at the floor in deep though.Just then you bumped into Draco and you both tripped backwards a little bit.You laughed and smiled. "Hey kid.""Hey" He said, smiling back. He seemed kindof nervous because he looked at the floor right away. You wondered what was wrong.."Hey, _____, I know I screw up a lot and you've probably heard a lot of bad stuff about me but.. I really like you."He looked up into your smiling face but questioning eyes and went on."Like.. I wanna be with you.. forever."This scared you a little. Where's this going? You wondered, thinking he was going to ask you to marry him.."Willyougototheballwithme?" He asked, really fast. "It's okay if you dont. I understand. I'm a big jerk."But you just laughed at him and jumped into his arms for a hug.</br>
</br>You guys hung out just like usual until the day of the ball.You walked down to the Great Hall by yourself in your dress since no one approved of your date...You came to the marble staircase which had taken a lot longer than you had expected because of all the people coming up to you and saying how pretty you looked.But you finally got there and walked down to a smiling Draco."Hey." You said, smiling at him."Hi ______," he said, smiling at you. "You look amazing." Then he pulled out a single rose from behind his back.You took it and smiled. "Thank you." You said politely. "Dance with me?"He smiled as you took his hand and led him onto the dancefloor.</br>
</br>You had so much fun dancing but you were getting tired so you grabbed Draco's hand and led him through the crowd and out the door onto the grounds.It was really cold out so it felt good after how hot it was inside.You looked up into the stars but felt Draco looking at you. You looked down and, sure enough, he was- standing there smirking at you."What are you making that face at me for?" You said, laughing."Nothing... I love you." He said, smiling.You didn't even wait to figure out what you were doing. You just grabbed both of his hands and kissed him passionately. Just as you did, Harry and his date walked outside but you didn't even notice.</br>
</br>You and Draco pulled away and smiled at each other as Harry watched in disgust."Don't be a prat Malfoy." Harry said.Draco didn't even care. He just looked at you.Then, a Mayday Parade song came on inside. You quickly kissed one more time and ran inside to dance to it, without even looking at Harry.Then you danced around for the rest of the night.</br>
